watched Ted, The Innkeepers and The Revenant this weekend. Ted made me wish I was watching Flash Gordon or Family Guy. Enjoyed all the different movie references but that was about it. The Innkeepers should be prescribed as a sleep aid. Its over we are officially done Ti West. You got great style and you can film a great looking movie but you need substance. I get the whole the ghosts were in Clair's head and the psychic warned her of the basement because of her own death and she died of an asthma attack, I get it...I even noticed the subtle bullshit in the last shot but come on bro no twist is not a twist. Apparently I saw a shit cut of the Revenant but it was the best out of the three. The pacing was all over the place and it seemed to drag on forever but I enjoyed the beginning and end. Shave off about a half hour and I think it would be fairly solid.
